About UsWoodworker Jill Christie has been working with native Australian timber for almost 20 years, supplying original, hand-crafted timber goods to the retail and wholesale markets both Australia-wide and internationally. She works closely with artists such as acclaimed bronze sculptor Pete Smit and Graeme Anthony, and also offers an extensive range of beautiful and unique timber pieces direct from the workshop, from chess boards and boxes, jewellery and trinket boxes, to musically tuned wind chimes. She has also created an extensive range of timber kitchenware and now supplies bespoke chopping boards, carving boards and serving platters boards to both the home, and the hospitality and catering industry. |

We use only stormfall, deadfall or sustainably sourced timber, much of which is milled by ourselves, and employ a 'roots and all' policy, utilising as much of the tree as possible. Because of this, we cannot always guarantee consistency of colour or grain across our pieces; rather our pieces often celebrate the various faults and features in the wood, as we believe they highlight the natural beauty of the timber, as well as making each piece uniquely individual. You can contact Jill direct through the website, or come and see us at Mt Tamborine Country Markets, Jan Power's Powerhouse Market at New Farm, or Jan Power's Farmers' Market, Mitchelton. Postage: We are more than happy to post items throughout Australia and our online customers enjoy free shipping on most items within Australia.
